VP R&D

An international company in the field of virtual advertising for live TV broadcasts, developing technology that embeds graphics into the original video. The company was acquired by an American firm. It has around 800 employees worldwide, mainly in the U.S., including 35 in the development center in Israel.

As part of the role: VP R&D to lead 5 development teams in Israel and abroad, overseeing around 30 developers, with minimal hands-on work. Looking for someone with a practical approach who wants to be involved in all aspects. Technologically, a background in C++ with computer vision algorithms and familiarity with AI frameworks is required.

Qualifications:

● Proven experience in a senior software development role, with a track record of managing and leading technical teams.

● Expertise in computer vision algorithms, including camera calibration, 3D tracking, 3D reconstruction, and projection geometry.

● Proficiency with OpenCV, Ceres, and CUDA.

● Strong experience with .NET for GUI development and multithreaded real-time architectures.

● Familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorRT, TensorFlow, and ConvNext.

● Deep understanding of AI training and deployment cycles.

● Excellent coding skills and hands-on experience in software development.

● Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
