Field application / audio tuning engineer

Alango Technologies, a leading provider of digital voice and audio enhancement technologies, is seeking a Field Application / Audio Tuning Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support our expanding global audio technology development and licensing activities. We are looking for a versatile individual with a strong background in audio, excellent analytical thinking, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform audio and acoustic tuning of products integrating Alango's audio DSP algorithms
• Support the full product development cycle of Alango algorithms in customer products, including integration, audio tuning, assessment, and certification
• Engage hands-on with audio devices by making recordings and performing acoustic measurements
• Maintain continuous communication with customers on technical issues via emails and calls
• Provide on-site support as needed, involving travel 2–8 times a year
• Conduct internal quality control of technologies

Requirements:

• Experience with recordings using professional sound equipment
• Practical experience with audio and Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software
• Solid understanding of analog and digital audio principles
• Excellent general computer and software skills
• Strong critical listening and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to learn independently
• Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken) and Hebrew

Preferred Qualifications:

• Practical programming experience
• Hands-on experience with C/C++ and scripting languages
• Technical writing skills
• Practical experience with audio hardware, including basic electrical knowledge (wiring, soldering, use of electrical test equipment)
