Sr. Director, Product Development, Network Optimization

Job Description

Ceragon is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Product Development to lead a software product line. This role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to market launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, a proven track record in product development, and the ability to drive multi-national, cross-functional teams towards success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the product development team to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement product strategies and innovation aligned with Ceragon's business goals.
• Oversee all stages of product development, including market research, ideation, design, development, testing, and launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure cohesive product development and launch.
• Analyze market trends and competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Ensure that all product development processes are efficient and adhere to Telecommunication industry standards and best practices.
• Communicate product plans, progress, and challenges to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Manage product development budgets and resources effectively.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Business, or a related field; Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in multi-national, multi-disciplinary product development or product management with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in communication network management
• Proven track record of successfully bringing products to market on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with agile product development methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
