Frontend Team Lead

A company developing a Big Data product for the defense market, enabling the conversion of cellular networks into real-time insights and tracking geographical locations for security clients. Among their customers are intelligence agencies, the Israeli Security Agency, and others, both domestically and internationally.

The company's offices are located in Hod Hasharon, with a hybrid model that includes one work-from-home day.

Responsibilities:

• 80% hands-on work in React.
• Lead the development of high-quality React-based web applications, ensuring best practices and modern design patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end developers to develop seamless user experiences.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting best coding practices and team development.
• Manage code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Make architecture decisions and lead efforts in refactoring, upgrading, and scaling systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
• Manage the front-end development process, including sprint planning, task assignment, and performance reviews.

Requirements-

• Proven leadership skills/managing a front-end team of over 5 developers
• Expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proficiency in state management tools (Redux, Context API, etc.).
• Deep understanding of responsive design, UI/UX principles, and accessibility standards.
• Experience in managing teams, mentoring junior developers, and conducting code reviews.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library).
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically.
• Experience with modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
