As an iOS Developer and Edge Device ML Engineer, you will play a key role in evolving the application’s UI to support novel algorithms developed by our lab while ensuring compatibility with existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elaborate the user interface with the integration of new functionalities.
• Convert deep learning models from PyTorch and/or TensorFlow to TensorFlowLite or CoreML, and integrate them into Lirot.ai for local inference.
• Ensure pre-processing and post-processing steps are seamlessly integrated within the models, or develop Swift equivalents for these steps, ensuring consistency in results.

We seek a candidate who:

• Has experience in developing software with graphical user interfaces.
• Is passionate about machine learning with a solid understanding of ML concepts.
• Has hands-on experience with deep learning for image analysis (CNN, ViT) and a basic understanding of different model outputs (classification, regression, segmentation).
• Possess strong system-level understanding (semaphores, multiprocessing/multithreading) and can identify and address system bottlenecks and memory leaks.
• Has experience with RGB image processing.
