Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Buyer to manage local and international purchasing operations for our company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in direct and indirect procurement, with a focus on machining, coatings, and supplier quality management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with local and international suppliers, overseeing budget, delivery timelines, and quality standards.
• Work closely with multiple departments within the company, including Sales, Production Planning, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
• Handle product pricing and requests for quotes from various suppliers.
• Issue and manage purchase orders.
• Oversee purchase orders, ensuring proper transfer of technical drawings to suppliers, particularly for raw materials, machining, treatments, and coatings.
• Monitor delivery schedules in collaboration with procurement planners and suppliers.
• Maintain supplier quality in cooperation with the Quality Assurance department.

Job Requirements:

• Proven negotiation skills and experience in cost reduction and supplier agreement creation – a must.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement within a manufacturing plant, with emphasis on machining, coatings, hardware, and soldering – a must.
• Experience with ERP systems – a must. Familiarity with Priority is a significant advantage.
• Ability to read technical drawings – a must.
• Advanced data analysis skills and proficiency in Excel (tables, pivot tables, graphs, formulas) – a must.
• Proven ability to analyze processes, identify gaps, and define improvement activities and cost-saving strategies – a must.
• Experience with imports – an advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, aviation industry standards, and working with COC – an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, initiative, and a service-oriented mindset.
