Java Software Engineer

A global startup in the Trust & Safety field, developing an AI-based SaaS product aimed at filtering and cleaning the internet from harmful content. This is a low-latency system that operates in real-time to detect and act against offensive activities in the public internet space, thereby preventing damage to users and organizations. The system supports massive scale operations.

The company has raised over $100 million and has large paying customers since its inception, no longer relying on investor support.

They are located in central Israel, near a train station and the light rail, working in a hybrid model with three days of remote work.

The company employs over 300 people globally.

Requirements-

• BSc degree in Computer Science, a related technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 Years of experience in server side development

• Proven experience with Python

• TypeScript, Nodejs, Scala - advantage

• Experience with large scale production systems and pipelines.

• Worked with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, HDFS

• Worked with ML frameworks, algorithms and MLOps

• Built microservices and the architecture around them

• Participated in agile practices and SaaS development

• Self learner, independent, and a team player with great communication skills.
