Terrapeutics is an exciting start-up that developed a groundbreaking drug discovery technology focusing on natural products. The company operates in the US and Israel. We seek a strong, passionate, experienced microbiologist to work full-time with the CSO on a challenging molecular project.

Job Requirements

Must Have

•      M.Sc./PhD (or B.Sc. with >7 years of research experience)

•      At least three years of experience in microbiology research

•      Proven knowledge of various tissue culture techniques, a deep understanding of bacterial requirements and media, optimization of growth and bioproduction

•      Knowledge of practical bacterial genetics

•      Curiosity and Joie de vivre

Advantages

•      Experience working with environmental bacteria

•      Experience with working with microbial secondary metabolites

•      Experience in self-learning of new technologies

•      Experience with liquid extraction, HPLC, Mass spec, NMR

•      Technical writing skills, proven ability to write technical papers and assist with writing grant applications
