We are looking for a Junior to Mid-Level DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in AWS and software development. The ideal candidate will take charge of our in-house application, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and performance. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our development team and be a part of daily development.

Key Responsibilities:

• In-House Application Management:
• Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of our in-house application.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• AWS Infrastructure:
• Configure and manage AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda,Gitops, Git Actions etc.) to support application needs.
• CI/CD:
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Be a part of the development team to integrate new features and improvements.
• Provide support for development environments and assist in code deployments.
• Scripting and Automation:
• Write scripts in Python, Bash, Java or other languages to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Develop tools and processes to enhance operational workflows.
• Monitoring and Logging:
• Maintenance of monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.) to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 1 year of experience in DevOps or Software Development roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, Java or similar languages.
• Understanding of networking concepts and Linux/Unix system administration.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
