Senior Mechanical Engineer

Reshef is a leading company that is developing cutting-edge technologies for the Defense Industry of Fuzing systems in Israel and for International Markets. Work leveraging a cross-functional skillset across multiple applicable engineering disciplines (Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, etc) to help design complex systems. Our company is located in Or Yehuda and we are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary projects.

You will work with our bright R&D team to develop creative and reliable systems for present and next-generation systems.

We are looking for a talented Engineer to join our R&D team. A leading engineer will have an exciting opportunity to develop new product activities. Prior experience in the military industry and explosive systems product development will be great.

EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design precision and smart systems according to customer requirements as established from various design documents.
• Write, implement and test design requirements for production and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely and frequently with Electrical Engineers, Project Managers and Manufacturing workers, throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs.



REQUIREMENTS

• Bsc. degree in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering - Must
• At least 4 years of mechanical design development experience, working directly with multidiscipline systems - Must
• Proficient in SolidWorks software – Must.
• Experience in DFM for machining, sheet metal fabrication, plastic/metal injection & 3D printing
• Experience working with EPDM software - Advantage
• Hands-on capabilities for prototyping and test setup design and assembly
• Good English verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical mind, problem-solving and leading skills, and attention to detail.
• Driving license – Must
• Military background in artillery mortars - Advantage
