We're looking for a talented Cobol Developer to join our financial company in Central Israel.
Responsibilities:
-Develop, maintain and upgrade existing Cobol systems and modernize legacy code
-Work in a Cobol CICS environment to design and implement business processes
-Collaborate with DevOps teams, software engineers and system experts to ensure high-quality technical solutions
-Design, write and test code to improve performance and resolve system issues
-Integrate systems with databases
-Work in a banking environment, adhering to strict regulatory
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in Cobol development
- Experience with Cobol CICS
- Experience with Adabas
- Experience with Natural – an advantage
- Experience with JCL and Syncsort – an advantage
- Experience in the banking industry – an advantage
