About The Position

Gigya-SAP is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer for our team.

The ‪QA Engineer will work as part of our development team in leading the quality aspect of the development. You will design automated tests to validate applications by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios.

Part of the time will be to write black box tests and the other part will be in exploitering testing of the system. You will review the team’s upcoming features, writing test plans and mentoring the team’s developers on them and lead the continuous improvement processes of the team in terms of quality.

Responsibilities Include

• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases derived directly from product specifications and customer requirements.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Define and run manual tests before automation execution.
• Develop automated tests with RND tools

Ideal Candidates Will Have

• 5+ years experience in testing SaaS applications
• 3+ years experience in developing automated tests
• At least 2 years writing tests based on API requests
• Programming – able to use programming skills to write computer code and scripts in common computer languages, such as typescript
• At least 2 year of experience in building and running UI automation
• Strong understanding of QA processes and concepts including test case preparation and test methodologies.
• Ability to consistently estimate, schedule and deliver completed tasks.
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
• Critical thinking about product behavior and user impact.
• Curiosity, patience and a desire to learn.
