Job Description:

As an Embedded Developer at EMG-Soft, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing embedded software solutions for various applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create reliable, efficient, and scalable embedded systems that meet our clients' specific needs. This role requires a deep understanding of microcontroller-based systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and hardware-software integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain embedded software solutions for microcontroller-based systems.
• Write efficient, well-documented, and reliable code in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components.
• Optimize software performance, including memory usage and power consumption.
• Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems to ensure functionality and performance.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Participate in system architecture design and provide technical input on embedded system requirements.
• Ensure that all projects meet deadlines and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems development.
• Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, PIC, AVR, etc.).
• Familiarity with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr).
• Solid understanding of hardware-software integration and debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Experience with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with embedded Linux.
• Knowledge of low-power design techniques.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience in working with sensor interfaces and actuators.
