Your Impact:

• Shape Bayer Israel reputation through strategic communication and public affairs initiatives.
• Drive sustainability goals and influence policy debates crucial to our mission
• Spearhead media relations and stakeholder engagement across multiple channels
• Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies, from crisis management to corporate branding
• Provide expert counsel to senior management on public affairs and communication matters

What You'll Do:

• Lead all external and internal communications, ensuring a consistent Bayer voice
• Drive Bayer's sustainability strategy and public policy initiatives
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including media, government officials, and healthcare professionals
• Oversee crisis management and protect Bayer's reputation
• Develop national public policy strategies in collaboration with senior management
• Manage crisis communications, develop rapid response plans, and uphold communication procedures
• Manage costs responsibly within the global budget, while always prioritizing local business needs
• Ensure brand consistency and adherence to global guidelines across all platforms
• Serve as the primary media contact, translating complex information into accessible language for diverse audiences
• Guide and manage executive communications to effectively position the Managing Director as the company's main spokesperson, while also supporting senior division representatives through training, media relations, and digital communications

Qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent with relevant advocacy experience.
• In-depth knowledge of political and socio-economic processes in Israel’s Life Sciences sector.
• Strong background in corporate communications and media relations.
• Excellent communication, consulting, and storytelling skills.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English.
• Proactive mindset with a “can do” attitude.
• Passionate about and experienced in the Life Sciences industry.
• Strong leadership qualities: visionary, architect, coach, and catalyst.
