Tax Compliance Analyst

Way2Vat is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Compliance Analyst to join our Finance Operation team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients' compliance with VAT regulations and maximizing their VAT reclaim potential. You will also support the department with maintaining financial statements and reports, assist Senior Managers with financial operational activities, and ensure operational flow among our global teams.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact with tax authorities and clients, effectively communicating VAT reclaim requirements and providing expert guidance.
• Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns to tax authorities, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and reconciliation of client receivables, identifying payments from both clients and tax authorities.
• Monitor collection reports, provide insights on pending receivables, and proactively follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collection.
• Support the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial statements and reports, assisting Senior Managers with operational tasks, and fostering efficient workflows across global teams.

Requirements:

• Fintech background with a minimum of 2 years as a Data Analyst in the financial sector (Mandatory)
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field. (Mandatory)
• Strong understanding of TAX laws, regulations, and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with tax regulations (a significant advantage).
• Proven ability to develop and implement compliance reporting policies and procedures.
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English (mandatory), with additional languages being a significant advantage.
