The opportunity:

Lead cost accounting guidelines and ensure adherence across TGO

How you’ll spend your day:

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of cost reports and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Leverage data analytics tools to enhance cost reporting accuracy and implement AI-driven solutions for cost variance analysis.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to finance teams across TGO sites and globally regarding cost accounting, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement cost accounting procedures and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct regular training sessions for finance teams and lead quarterly reviews of cost accounting practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to cost accounting.
• Regularly review and update cost accounting policies to ensure compliance with changing regulations.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks related to cost accounting.
• Support the Senior Director, Cost Accounting Lead, in strategic planning and execution of cost accounting initiatives.

Your experience and qualifications:

• University bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Economics / Management or other relevant
• At least 5 years Professional experience in a Global Finance role, managerial experience is an advantage
• Fluent English, superb analytical skills, ability to independently lead projects, excellent communication and presentation skills, Expert skills in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, data planning and analysis tools, Experience with SAP or another ERP system, Excellent analytical, communication and presentational skills, Team player, Ability to work independently and under pressure
