Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems.
• Collaborate with BI analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across various data sources.
• Optimize and improve existing data workflows for performance and scalability.
• Implement data governance and security best practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with QlikSense, dbt, Snowflake, OAC (OBIEE), Salesforce and Oracle ERP (Order Management, Purchasing, Finance (AR, AP, GL), Service).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
• Understanding of data modeling and database design.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Power BI.
• GitHub / CI/CD
• Familiarity with data governance and security practices.
