Position: CTO/ Chief Architect in the area of General Computing Technologies and Products

The CTO is to assure the successful execution of the company’s business mission through developing the innovative technologies and products which is the infrastructure technologies in general computing. These infrastructure can be Platform Software, Hardware system, Components etc. which is used in cloud computing (IaaS), big data, database, virtualization, and distributed storage etc.

Responsibilities:

v Deeply insight into the industry development trend and customer requirements of the general-purpose computing market. Based on Self-developed   chips, plan and build key technologies for the computing platform, including single-node systems, CDI(composable disaggregated infrastructure) and clusters. Provide world-leading computing infrastructure by combining software and hardware;

v For key scenarios such as cloud computing (IaaS), big data, database, virtualization, and distributed storage, optimize basic software such as application algorithms, computing power/memory/IO/communication/scheduling systems, runtime (acceleration library), and OS based on hardware features. Build end-to-end technical competitiveness that integrates software and hardware;

v Define the full-stack architecture of computing infrastructure based on typical workload characteristics, such as cloud computing (IaaS), big data, database, virtualization, and distributed storage. lead an expert team to implement the key architectures. Through software and hardware co-design to improve the competitiveness of the   computing platform and research the future   computing architecture;

v As the CTO, led the local expert team to develop the SP of general computing infrastructure, and carried out research and innovation in the form of technical projects to ensure that the N+2/N+3 key technologies are ready in advance and build the competitiveness of   general-purpose computing products and solutions in advance.

Qualifications:

·        As CTO or Chief Architect of successful products, the leader of technical expert team within well-known multinational companies or startups, which the successful products shall be deployed widely in the infrastructure layer in general computing solution;

·        Familiar with typical applications such as cloud computing (IaaS), big data, database, virtualization, and distributed storage; experience in designing computing infrastructure systems; in-depth understanding of the software and hardware infrastructure architectures of mainstream computing systems in the industry and the technology trends in the industry;

·        Rich experience in software system architecture development. Be able to release the computing power of the   computing system by combining full-stack software and hardware from the aspects of application algorithm, computing power/memory/IO/communication/scheduling system, runtime (acceleration library), and OS;

·        Have experience in team management and project management, and be able to independently lead the team to carry out future-oriented computing infrastructure innovation;

·        Experience in architecture design of CDI, Computing Resource Pooling etc. is preferred.

·        Lead high throughput large scale computing system products.

·        Wide vision along with capability of diving into technical details.

          customer, engineering, marketing, R&D and standardization.
