C++ Software Engineer

A global cybersecurity company is developing a patented Endpoint Security system capable of preempting attacker actions, thereby preventing attacks before they occur.

The company has a global workforce of approximately 100 employees, with the majority located in Israel. To facilitate employee convenience, there are two development centers: one in Tel Aviv, close to a train station, and another in Be'er Sheva, also near a train station. Key Responsibilities-

• Designs, develops, and maintains end-to-end security modules in C/C++ that power endpoint protection.
• Works with low-level Windows internals, including kernel mode and user mode development.
• Leads the development of innovative security solutions that address complex real-world threats.
• Investigates and resolves advanced security-related issues and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborates with other teams to integrate cutting-edge security features and ensure overall system stability and performance.
• Stays up to date with emerging threats and vulnerability trends to proactively enhance defense mechanisms.
• Participates in code reviews, mentoring, and technical discussions to ensure high-quality engineering practices across the team.

Requirements-

• Multiple years of experience in C/C++ development, with an emphasis on system-level programming.
• Deep understanding of Windows OS internals, including kernel and user-mode.
• Experience with Windows API, COM, and multithreading.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for security.
• Familiarity with security concepts such as buffer overflows, race conditions, code injection and privilege escalation.
• Experience working on large-scale, high-performance systems with complex requirements.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and the threat landscape is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
