Job Summary:

A biotech company, at the forefront of science and technology, backed by a prominent Venture Capital group, developing next generation genetic medicines, is looking for a scientist – genomic specialist, with a strong background in molecular biology methodologies, to join an expanding team of genomic experts.

Location: Rehovot, Israel

Main Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for executing and developing digital PCR (dPCR) based measurements and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) protocols on a high-throughput platform. The role involves executing screening workflows and developing novel methodologies to answer the team’s objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of experienced geneticists developing new assays to reach company goals.

• Process samples for the company screening platform.
• Record, analyze, and present experimental data effectively.
• Develop and calibrate new assays according to company needs.
• Collaborate with other departments and teams.

Requirements:

• MSc in a related field, with a proven track record in molecular biology/genetics.
• At least 2 years of industry experience with molecular biology techniques and quantitative PCR (qPCR) – must.
• Industry experience with RNA purification and RNA libraries preparation - advantage
• Exceptional teamwork abilities, enabling effective collaboration in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment
• Adaptability to changing priorities and variable workloads.
