Operations Center Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Live Ops Lead to join Wolt Israel’s team, reporting directly to the Strategy Operations Excellence Manager. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth execution of operations across all departments, especially during key business events. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and make calm, informed decisions in real-time to drive operational efficiency and resolve challenges swiftly.

Role Background:

• Operational Readiness Management: Lead and coordinate the preparation of multiple departments (Customer Support, Couriers, Marketing, PR, Venue team and other stakeholder) for significant operational events. This includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and readiness.
• Company Operation Center: Manage a team of operation specialists who operate Wolt’s 24/7 Command Center. This team ensures smooth day-to-day operations and responds to planned & unplanned events (technical issues, weather disruptions, road closures, security incidents, etc.) by leveraging real-time checklists and interventions.
• Data Analysis & Business Insights: Perform daily and weekly data analysis to generate actionable business insights. Ensure that all departments are making necessary adjustments to optimize the company’s operational flow and performance.
  
  

• 5+ years in operations or cross-functional project management in a high-growth tech environment or a similarly fast-paced industry.
• Proven track record of managing cross-departmental initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in leading a team with strong management and leadership abilities.
• Excellent data analysis skills, with experience in generating business insights and driving operational improvements.
• Ability to summarize and present information in a way that provides actionable insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to collaborate with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds
• Proven ability to make quick decisions under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and remain calm in high-stress environments.
• Open to working flexible hours to ensure smooth operations and address urgent issues when necessary.
