Financial Controller- 3051

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing financial reporting for the Israeli parent company and international subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
• Preparing tax reports for companies in Israel as well as for those in Canada and the UAE.
• Managing current and deferred taxes, including building tax forecasts at the group level.
• Developing and maintaining an internal control framework while implementing SOX404.
• Mandatory managerial experience in accounting management—leading a team of accounting assistants, providing guidance and development.
• Collaborating with other departments (e.g., R&D, Sales, and Marketing) to ensure accurate accounting of financial data and leading cross-functional projects.
• Maintaining a high professional standard in changing accounting and taxation regulations while analyzing their impact on financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting roles in public/industrial/pharmaceutical entities or in a senior position in one of the BIG4 accounting firms.
• Proven experience in managing and leading financial reporting teams.
• In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and experience in consolidating financial statements.
• Strong understanding of Israeli tax regulations; additional experience in Canadian and/or UAE taxation is an advantage.
• Ability to deliver accurate reports under tight deadlines in a dynamic and changing business environment.
• High analytical skills, strong interpersonal communication, and high personal motivation with the ability to lead and develop the team.
• Experience with ERP systems; M3/Netsuite is an advantage.
• High proficiency in English and Hebrew.
