Assistant Controller

Bright Data is looking for an Assistant Controller to join our finance team for a broad & impactful role, reporting directly to our Director of Finance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reviewing and preparing journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports for monthly consolidation, including flux analysis and additional data required by the corporate reporting package.
• Support annual audits.
• Provide support and guidance to bookkeepers on accounting matters.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements

• CPA BIG-4 alumnus
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Fluent English
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment
• Great attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Experience preparing monthly reported package – an advantage
• Experience in US GAAP – an advantage
• Priority experience – an advantage|
• 1 year of experience as an assistant controller in a high-tech company- an advantage
