Job Overview
Balltime is looking for a highly skilled CFO to join our team on a part-time basis. This hybrid role will oversee both financial operations and human resources, ensuring that Balltime maintains financial health while fostering a thriving work culture. The ideal candidate will be experienced in both finance and HR, with knowledge of the Israeli and US markets.
Key Responsibilities
Finance
- Prepare, maintain, and present accurate financial reporting for the company (balance sheets, P&L, cash flow) in tandem with our accountants.
- Develop and manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and business planning models.
- Ensure financial compliance with both Israeli and US regulations, including tax filings and audits.
- Oversee cash flow, manage budgets, and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
- Manage expense reporting and reimbursement processes, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the leadership team to guide decision-making and business growth.
Legal & Compliance
- Obtain and manage company insurance policies (e.g., liability, health, and other relevant coverages).
- Ensure legal compliance with corporate governance, tax laws, and labor regulations.
- Work with legal advisors to manage contracts, partnerships, and any other legal documentation.
HR Management
- Create and establish the HR department, including policies, procedures, and employee benefits.
- Develop and implement a global payroll system, ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws in Israel and the US.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in the Israeli and US markets.
Requirements
- Strong experience in both finance and human resources roles, preferably in a startup or technology environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Israeli and US markets, particularly around finance, payroll, labor laws, and corporate insurance.
- Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
- Experience in setting up HR processes, payroll systems, and managing employee benefits.
- Familiarity with legal documentation and procurement for companies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
