Security & Network Expert

We are seeking a skilled Security & Network Expert to ensure our IT environment adheres to company regulations and information security best practices. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security and network systems, as well as testing security products to identify vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and maintain security systems and associated software (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web App Security, Endpoint Security, etc.).
• Recommend and implement security patches, disaster recovery procedures, and measures in the event of a security breach.
• Assess and execute security reconfigurations as needed.
• Research and propose new security solutions and technologies.

Desired Competencies

Must-Have:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in security and networking.
• Solid understanding of information security principles and practices.
• Experience with Firewalls, network switches, IPS, WAF, Vulnerability Management, and Database Security.
• Familiarity with vendors such as F5 LTM/ASM, Fortigate, Checkpoint, IMPERVA, and Cisco switches.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, TCP/IP protocols, load balancing, and network security technologies.
• Proficiency in IT operating systems (Windows & Linux).
• Advantages: Basic scripting skills and experience with IMPERVA.

Background:

• Relevant security certifications in networking or security fields.

Other Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated, organized, and committed to project success.

Reporting Structure

• Reports to the Infrastructure Manager.
• Works within a team of 3.
