Computer Vision Engineer

A startup specializing in interactive shopping experiences has developed a smart device that attaches to a supermarket shopping cart. The device can automatically detect products as they are placed in or removed from the cart without the need for scanning and allows customers to pay at the end of the shopping trip, eliminating the need to go through the checkout.

The device features a large touchscreen that shows customers their total in real-time, personalized recommendations, and ads based on their shopping habits, store location, and selected products.

Located in Tel Aviv near a train line, the company has 60 employees, with 30 in development. The team works in a hybrid model with one day per week from home.

The company is well-funded, successful, and stable.

Role Description:

• Be part of a team focused on both classical and AI techniques in the field of computer vision.
• Tasks include Object detection, Fine-grained classification, Computational geometry, Localization, Tracking, and Deep Learning.
• Code in Python and C++ equally.
• The role covers work from research through to production, on a multidisciplinary product.

Requirements-

• 5 years of in hands-on development of computer vision algorithms.
• Extensive experience in research and development of deep learning solutions within the computer vision domain.
• E2E CV algorithms development on multi-dacplinary product in a production environment.
• Experience with C++ is an advantage.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities.
• High computer literacy and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to communicate complex ideas effectively.
