Job Title: Senior Android Developer with Neural Network Integration Experience

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Android Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Android development, including hands-on experience in integrating neural networks for visual object classification. This role requires proficiency in developing complex UI and optimizing neural networks for mobile devices, as well as the ability to work on cutting-edge projects that involve image recognition and classification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Android App Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications with a focus on image processing and real-time visual object classification.
• Neural Network Integration: Integrate, optimize, and deploy pre-trained neural networks (e.g., YOLO, MobileNet, TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile) into Android applications for image classification, object detection, and recognition tasks.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of neural network models on mobile devices, focusing on reducing memory usage, improving inference speed, and ensuring smooth app performance.
• Mobile Machine Learning: Utilize mobile-friendly machine learning libraries (TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile, etc.) to run models efficiently on Android devices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with machine learning engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to integrate neural network models into mobile applications and deliver cutting-edge features.
• Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the neural network integration within the app, ensuring high accuracy, performance, and scalability.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in mobile AI/ML technologies, tools, and frameworks, and apply them to improve app functionality and user experience.

Required Skills:

• Android Development: Expert-level proficiency in Java/Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Machine Learning & Neural Networks: Experience with deploying and optimizing deep learning models, especially in the area of visual object classification.
• ML Integration: Knowledge of integrating machine learning libraries such as **TensorFlow Lite**, **PyTorch Mobile**, **ML Kit**, or **ONNX** on Android platforms.
• Model Optimization: Proficiency in optimizing neural networks for mobile devices using techniques such as quantization, pruning, and model compression.
• App Performance: Strong understanding of mobile app performance tuning, memory management, and multithreading to ensure smooth operation of AI models.
• UI/UX: Understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to create intuitive AI-driven features.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with tools like Android NDK for native development and performance optimization.
• Published apps with integrated AI/ML features, particularly in object detection or visual classification.
