Hardware Integration Engineer

A company specializing in enterprise-class storage solutions is seeking a Hardware Integration Engineer to join its growing R&D team.

The company’s software-centric architecture is designed to provide high performance with sub-millisecond latency, full system availability, and scalability, while maintaining a lower total cost of ownership compared to competing technologies.

Responsibilities-

• Expertise in storage hardware products, such as servers, drives, enclosures and power components.
• Perform new HW component evaluations and qualifications, taking an active part in integrating them into our product.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors worldwide, aiming to improve product quality, and find solutions for complex issues.
• Conducting failure analysis investigations (both internally and with our suppliers), with corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead new and existing hardware projects, constantly learning about new technologies and methodologies.
• Maintain a hardware knowledge base using industrial standard tools

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience in debugging hardware problems
• Have strong experience working in a Linux-based environment
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science/electrical engineering
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering and computer networking
• Hands-on, with a “can do” attitude, capable of working independently and collaboratively
• Organized, pays attention to small details, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills
• A rich background working in large-scale products
