Tenure Track Position

We are seeking candidates for a full-time tenure track position at the Azrieli National Centre for Autism and Neurodevelopment Research, which is part of Ben-Gurion University in Beer Sheva, Israel. 

Research at the center includes projects regarding autism genetics, environmental risk factors, neurophysiology, sensory processing, motor function, sleep disturbances, and behavior, with a clear goal of translating findings into practical tools for improving the diagnosis and treatment of young children.

The position is relevant to exceptional researchers with a proven track record in autism research. Fields of expertise may include physiology, molecular and cellular biology, genetics, neuroscience, medicine, occupational therapy, public health, computer science, biomedical engineering, or other closely related fields. Candidates must have a PhD degree and post-doctoral training focusing on autism research.

Applicants will first be interviewed and selected by the autism center search committee and then recruited to the relevant department at BGU.

Applicants will be expected to build an independent research program focused on autism and take an active role in the management and expansion of the autism center.

Successful candidates will receive competitive start-up funds and will have access to the extraordinary research resources of the autism center.
