Role Description

This is an incredible opportunity to join the two co-founders of MAMI & CO and become part of a venture to revolutionize the beauty industry.

As the third and final co-founder, you will join us on a journey to shake up the fashion world with a game-changing product.

We're seeking a Co-Founder to take full ownership of our R&D process. The ideal candidate should have a strong materials science, engineering, and product development background. Our product intersects with chemistry, materials, engineering, and design, and we're open to candidates with expertise in these areas.

We are looking for a versatile expert with an understanding beyond only one field. Therefore, we welcome applications from Materials Engineers, Industrial Designers, and Mechanical Engineers with the vision and drive to lead the development and design of this groundbreaking product.

If you have experience researching and developing beauty products, especially in materials and design, that's a huge plus!

Qualifications

1. Materials Science and Engineering – Deep understanding of material properties, mainly related to thin, durable, and flexible products for cosmetic use.
2. Experience in Product Design – Ability to design and develop innovative consumer products, ideally in the beauty, fashion, or accessory industries.
3. Proficiency in R&D – Strong background in leading research and development independently from concept to prototype, particularly in products requiring functionality and aesthetic appeal.
4. Chemistry and Materials – Familiarity with chemical properties and interactions, particularly about adhesives, coatings, or materials that interact with human skin or nails.
5. Creative Problem-Solving – Ability to innovate and solve technical challenges, particularly when developing new materials or product mechanisms.
6. Independent with an entrepreneurial mindset—Driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment and independently overseeing and executing R&D.
7. Previous Experience in Beauty or Fashion Products – A plus, particularly if involving product design or development.
