The Project Management team is responsible for planning and executing Innoviz's large-scale R&D projects, which include numerous engineering disciplines, from chip design through optics to deep-learning computer vision.

The group has high project management capabilities incorporated with significant technical skills.

The group is following all aspects of development processes that are governed and regulated by the automotive industry standards.

We are looking for an experienced and talented R&D Project Manager with high technical capabilities to join the team.

Responsibilities:

• Long-term and short-term multidisciplinary projects planning according to automotive standards
• Management of complex R&D projects, both in-house and outsourced
• Coordinate and plan from system requirements, through SW architecture, SW implementation and system testing, followed by automotive industry standards
• Maintain and communicate with development partners and OEM customer to reflect the status of the development
• Leading interdisciplinary teams in a matrix organization
• Define risks and mitigation to problems identified during the development, working closely with the development leaders
• Work closely with the release manager on delivery per release cadence defined
• Work according to best practices of the ASPICE quality standard
  
  

• Experience and proven track record with a similar role, large-scale project management with strong technical orientation in a multidisciplinary company – At least 5 years must
• At least 2 years of experience in software/ASIC/HW development
• Experience managing cross-functional programs and work plans
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written – Hebrew and English) and ‘customer facing’ capabilities – ability to present and deliver technical content in front of global customers and company’s executives
• Ability to work efficiently in a multi-disciplinary environment with tight, fast-paced development schedules
• Team-oriented and good interpersonal skills, ability to work well both independently and as a part of a team
• Comfortable challenging peers and managers in a healthy and constructive way
• BSc in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science
• Automotive or medical regulations experience - preferred
• System engineering experience – preferred
• MSc in engineering and/or MBA – preferred
• PMP certification – An advantage
