SolarGik is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer position in the Sales and Business Development team. The team is expanding rapidly and is managing sales activity around the globe, in the US, Israel, Europe, LATAM and India.
This position is a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative company and to be involved in some of its most important processes and efforts. More specifically, it is an opportunity to experience the interface between its sales activity and its engineering and technical activity.
As a Pre-Sales Engineer you will discover customer needs and implement solutions to client needs. This is a hands-on role requiring a technical background and excellent communication skills. A majority of your time will be spent working with the sales teams.
The most crucial ability for this position is to understand technical information and to be able to translate it into a value proposition for the client.
What will YOU do?
- Take part in the sales process, including meetings with customers
- Be involved in and managing the project proposal design process for customers:
- Uncovering and documenting the client’s needs,
- Utilizing different tools to design project layout and analyze energy generation.
- Take part in different team activities and conferences, including exhibitions around the globe
What will YOU bring with you?
- Engineering degree
- 1-3 years of technical and/or customer facing professional experience
- Ability to quickly understand and process information as well as clearly present it.
- Ability to prioritize workload based on topic’s level of importance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Show initiative, responsibility, and ability to work in dynamic environment.
- Team player- ability to work with different stakeholders in the company.
Advantages:
- Experience in the energy sector
- Experience with design tools including AUTOCAD and/or PVSYST
