Role Overview: We're seeking a passionate AI/ML Engineer to join our founding team and help develop cutting-edge natural language processing and machine learning models that will power our therapy platform. This is an equity-only position ideal for someone excited about the potential of AI in mental health and looking to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement ML models for analyzing journal entries, therapy transcripts, and user interaction, etc
• Create NLP algorithms to generate personalized therapeutic insights and recommendations
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure AI outputs align with trauma-informed care best practices
• Optimize model performance and scalability as we grow
• Contribute to the overall technical strategy and product development

Requirements:

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning or related field
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
• Expertise in NLP techniques, particularly for sentiment analysis and text generation
• Familiarity with privacy and ethical considerations in AI for healthcare applications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Passion for mental health innovation and improving lives through technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with mental health data or in the digital health space
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
• Background in conversational AI or chatbot development
