Powtoon is one of the leading video animation platforms generating millions in revenue and touching over 50M users over the last 12 years. With well over 100M powtoons created we are now strengthening our management team and looking to bring in a Head of Growth to lead our Powtoon Self Service team.
As Head of Growth you will be responsible for the entire customer lifecycle. You will be data driven, creating tests and experiments to positively influence customer acquisition, customer conversion, customer retention and customer lifetime value.
Responsibilities of the Head of Growth:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth for Powtoon's self serve business
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement, managing marketing and advertising campaigns, optimizing conversion funnels, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to improve the user experience
- Research and use data to understand our current position across user types and develop rapidly executable marketing and product activities that grow user retention and bring new users
- Take ownership of all customer acquisition channels including but not limited to paid media and social, SEO, influencer and affiliate marketing channels
- Identify, optimize, and discover opportunities across user acquisition, onboarding and engagement to improve conversion from free users to paying customers across target segments.
- You have a serious background in marketing, growth and e-commerce marketing - can show evidence where a product under your leadership has grown with direct attribution to your executed work
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, proficiency in data analysis and experimentation
- Demand Generation is one of your known fields
- Copywriting and content is an obsession of yours and you know how to create messaging that lands amongst users and prospects
- Clear understanding as to the value of microcopy and of user journeys
- Understand that UX is the translation of marketing into the world of UI
- You want to have an impact and grow your career in a wildly successful business
- Have a data first approach but be able to take that data and execute it in the real world
- Leadership experience and mentorship skills essential
- Excellent communication skills even under pressure
- 8+ years of experience with a background in growth marketing, product marketing, brand, lifecycle, analytics, consulting, or product management
- 2-3+ years of experience managing multidisciplinary teams across the spectrum of technical to creative in a consumer-facing company
- Significant Hands-on PPC experience - a must
- Perfect English, as Native (all meetings, interviews and communications are only in English)- Must
- Experience at a growth startup with revenues of $10MM+
- Experience in marketing B2C SaaS products
- Deeply analytical with a high degree of comfort being hands on with data and breaking down and solving complex, ambiguous problems
- Ability to move quickly and fluidly between long-term strategic thinking and operating at the lowest level of detail
- Demonstrated track record of upleveling teams with more efficient and scalable process
- A high-energy doer who anticipates problems and doesn't hesitate to jump in and solve them
- World-class people and relationship building skills
