Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description: A leading company is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for ensuring and monitoring SOPs, Work Instructions (WIs), and company policies related to the cultivation, production, and packaging processes.

The role includes conducting training for production employees, process improvements, and enforcing day-to-day operations according to EU-GMP/IMC-GAP standards.

The responsibilities also involve analyzing complaints and deviations, performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions (CAPA), managing change control processes, and assisting in the preparation of Product Quality Reviews (PQR).

Additionally, the role includes conducting supplier and internal audits, and guiding production and cultivation managers in the development and writing of procedures.

Requirements:

• A scientific degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical, medical device, or related industries.
• Deep knowledge of quality assurance concepts, methods, and tools, including process and cleaning validations.
• Familiarity with analytical methods and instruments such as HPLC.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments using FMEA methodology.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as EU-GMP / IMC GAP – a significant advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide strategic recommendations and process improvements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Full proficiency in Hebrew and English.
