Salesforce is looking for technically strong, upbeat, highly collaborative, and hard-working senior leader to lead our software engineering team which will build and enhance our Machine Learning foundations. You will use your experience in the areas of ML and support a team of outstanding developers while keeping quality in mind. This is an opportunity to buid something new and exciting which will meaningfully underlay and enhance a range of Salesforce most successful products. Responsibilities

• Partner with Salesforce AI Cloud leaders to define and refine the strategy and roadmap
• Lead the planning, development and maintenance of high-quality and highly available systems in which ML models live
• Partner with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers to closely track progress across multiple workstreams and delivering goals for varying stakeholders
• Retain top talent within the teams; hire top talents; invest in continuous employee development of successful teams and have a passion for team and team members’ success
• Effectively communicate and cultivate collaboration in the team
• Identify opportunities and improvements in the processes and culture of the teams and the larger engineering organization
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven track record leading software engineering teams with a distinguished track record on technically fast paced projects
• Experience leading large scale distributed systems, working with microservices and/or distributed architecture
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and project management skills. Ability to work effectively in a distributed team setting
• Ability to be flexible, proactive, comfortable working with minimal specifications
• Experience with short release cycles, the full software lifecycle, and experience developing products from scratch
• Experience in hiring, mentoring and leading engineers
• Working experience of software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and product management to understand requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
