Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Scientist located in Tel Aviv District, Israel. The Data Scientist will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven models, conducting research to evaluate new data science methodologies, and analyzing large datasets to extract actionable insights. The Data Scientist will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Flymingo’s predictive analytics capabilities, focusing on operational optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models for predictive analytics
• Analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights to drive decision-making
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into real-time applications
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and transformation to ensure data accuracy
• Research and apply new data science techniques to improve model performance

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong background in data analysis, statistics, and machine learning
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud computing services (AWS or others)
• Experience with time-series analysis and anomaly detection
• Knowledge of warehouse operations or supply chain optimization
• Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
