Head of Product Development

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Product Development.

This role will be responsible for driving our Ecommerce website and execution of user-centric product development, focusing on the full customer journey, understanding user pain points, and leveraging data to optimize the experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale digital platforms, especially in high-traffic environments, and demonstrate expertise in marketplace or e-commerce industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of product strategy, design, and execution.
• Develop and refine customer journeys that address user pain points and ensure a seamless experience across all touchpoints.\
• Use data-driven insights to identify user behaviors, needs, and pain points, deriving actionable conclusions that guide product improvements.
• Oversee the development and continuous improvement of high-traffic websites with millions of users, ensuring scalability, performance, and user satisfaction.
• Implement a user feedback loop through customer panels and direct user engagement, continuously refining the product offering based on real-time insights.
• Take ownership of UX/UI design decisions, ensuring that product interfaces are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with the overall business and product strategy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, engineering, data) to ensure alignment and delivery of product goals.
• Identify and capitalize on emerging trends within the marketplace and e-commerce sectors, ensuring the company remains competitive and innovative.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in product management or product development, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
• Experience with product information management (PIM) systems and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) .
• Proven experience in building customer journeys and addressing user pain points.
• Extensive experience working in large organizations, managing cross-functional teams.
• High proficiency in using data to drive insights, decisions, and optimizations.
• Solid experience in user experience (UX) leadership and a deep understanding of user behavior.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• A strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and execute in a fast-paced environment
