Product Desginer

We are looking for a talented Product Designer with a proven track record in designing complex systems to join our growing Global Product Design team at Rekor. As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our products by leading the design of products and features from early exploration through to final production. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and teams across R&D, Sales, and Customer Success in both TLV and the USA to deliver innovative, user-centric solutions that create value for our customers in the transportation industry.

Our ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail and expertise across all stages of the design process—from research and concept development to prototyping, specification, and launch. A true product thinker who understands user needs and knows how to design impactful solutions, all while working collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full design lifecycle, from user research and concept development to prototyping and final delivery.
• Design intuitive, user-centered, and pixel-perfect experiences across web and mobile platforms.
• Partner with product management, design, BI, and engineering teams to deliver innovative, effective and data-driven solutions for complex challenges.
• Actively collaborate with fellow designers, fostering a supportive team environment through constructive feedback and knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with product managers to align user needs with business objectives, ensuring a balance of user value and strategic goals.
• Coordinate with developers to implement the design within time and resource constraints and use communication skills to work within dynamic cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of our design system, ensuring consistency across multiple products.
  
  

• 3+ years of experience in product design, with experience in designing complex systems and collaborating effectively with product, R&D, and QA teams.
• Strong portfolio showcasing in-depth case studies demonstrating UX/UI skills and design thinking
• Comprehensive understanding of the product life cycle, from research and ideation to design, development, and implementation.
• Ability to independently lead projects from concept to completion.
• Expertise in managing complex user requirements and delivering clear, cohesive design solutions.
• Experienced in user research methodologies and testing practices, with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into effective design solutions.
• Self-driven, proactive, and creative problem solver with a keen attention to detail.
• A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, able to easily adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in visual design, interaction design, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with design tools like Figma.
• High level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
