Purchasing Manager and Pharmacy Partnership Development

The Purchasing Manager and Pharmacy Partnership Development will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process in the company, with a focus on large-scale purchases from various suppliers, including working with local and international suppliers and importers. The ideal candidate will excel in effective negotiation, develop efficient procurement strategies, and ensure the availability of high-quality products at competitive prices while building partnerships with local pharmacies in Germany. Proficiency in German is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the entire procurement process, including imports and parallel imports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers and suppliers worldwide.
• Build partnerships and establish collaborations with local pharmacies in Germany.
• Develop a network of local pharmacies across Germany to ensure product availability and improve distribution efficiency.
• Create long-term strategic partnerships with pharmacies, ensuring optimal commercial conditions for both parties.
• Expand the geographical footprint of pharmacy partners to enhance customer accessibility and service.
• Identify opportunities for competitive purchasing and improve negotiation processes with suppliers.
• Manage inventory and ensure consistent product availability.
• Analyze the market and adjust procurement strategies based on market trends and availability constraints.
• Oversee contracts and agreements with suppliers and importers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in procurement management, with a preference for large-scale purchasing experience.
• Experience in complex negotiations with suppliers domestically and internationally.
• Experience in building relationships with pharmacies in Germany – a significant advantage.
• Fluency in German – mandatory.
• Proficiency with ERP systems for procurement and inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of market trends.
• Significant advantage for experience in parallel imports.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities when working with suppliers and professionals.
