Software Engineer Team Lead

A startup company that has developed a SaaS platform for website building, tailored for digital agencies and web designers (B2B).

They have raised around $100 million so far and are highly successful in Europe and the U.S.

The company has 180 employees, 90 in Israel and the rest abroad, and is based in Tel Aviv near a train station, offering two remote workdays per week.

The role includes managing a team of 5 people, with the team primarily focusing on Full-Stack development, though the vast majority is on the Frontend.

The tech stack includes React, TypeScript, Micro Frontend, Jest, Java, SaaS, and more.

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience as a software developer - Must.
• 2+ years of experience as a team leader - Must.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with React - Must.
• Experience with a leading backend language - preferably Java.
• A team player with strong people skills.
• Familiarity with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA, REST APIs, AWS - an advantage.
• Experience working with microservices or serverless oriented architecture - an advantage.
• Familiarity with public clouds and CI/CD practices for building, testing and deploying applications.
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
