Infiniplex is a medical device start-up in the field of qPCR-based liquid biopsy that aims to make preemptive, preventive, and follow-up cancer screenings affordable and accessible by utilizing routine blood testing to screen for genetic tumor biomarkers.

We seek a passionate scientist with experience in designing and optimizing qPCR assays, leading experimental work, and contributing to R&D projects focused on improving cancer detection methods. The role requires strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues, improve assay performance, and refine workflows.

·      Design and optimize qPCR primers for targeted cancer biomarker detection

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve qPCR assay workflows

·      Analyze assay results, interpret the data to draw meaningful conclusions, and apply insights to design the next

set of experiments to continuously improve assay performance.

·      Provide the laboratory team with scientific guidance and leadership in project planning and experimental

designs

·      Contribute to R&D efforts focused on novel qPCR method development

·      Strong technical expertise in qPCR techniques and assay development

·      Proficiency in PCR primer design and nucleic acid analysis

·      Expertise in sequence analysis and interpretation

·      Hands-on experience with relevant primer design software

·      Deep understanding of molecular biology, genetics, and cancer biomarkers

·      Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related field with 4+ years of experience

·      Proven record in R&D within the life sciences industry or academic setting

·      Excellent problem-solving skills and critical-thinking abilities

·      Ability to work independently, with strong leadership and communication skills

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)

·      Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
