Laboratory Technician

Biolojic Design, Ltd. is a leading-edge company specializing in the design of multi-specific human antibodies, using AI and machine learning techniques, to cure patients.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lab Technician to join our Lab operations team. The ideal candidate will perform essential laboratory tasks, maintain equipment, mentor junior technicians, and ensure the smooth workflow of our research processes.

Responsibilities:

·      Support our R&D teams: Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions as required for testing, and conducted quality control tests.

·      Assist in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and proper function.

·      Routine maintenance of Tissue Culture lab, including performing Mycoplasma testing.

·      Maintaining laboratory inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring the cleanliness of the work environment.

·      Optimizing existing work protocols to enhance robustness and reduce operational costs.

·      Daily lab operations, including sterilizing lab equipment and general lab cleanliness.

·      Train and mentor junior lab technicians/students in the Lan operations team.

·      Comply with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience working in a laboratory setting, in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with different laboratory techniques and equipment, including analytical scales, pH meters, and autoclaves. Experience in sterile techniques and operating within biological and chemical hoods.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
