Senior System Integration Engineer

NewPhotonics is disrupting data center processing with novel photonic engines solving the power and performance challenges. We are looking for a Senior System Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the technological landscape of our organization. The successful candidate for this position has a track record of strength and aptitude relevant to the following areas:

 ·      Define test plans and key results according to standards, specifications, and customer requirements.

·      Develop analysis and validation techniques that deliver accurate, predictable, and high-confidence results.

·      Conduct lab testing for hardware, software, photonics, and algorithms.

·      Develop and maintain automation processes.

·      Define bench-level qualification and production-level test plans.

·      Provide customer support and conduct associated feasibility studies.

·      Manage, maintain, and verify the availability of test equipment.

·      Perform optical integration and testing in the clean room.

Requirements

·      7+ years experience with running experiments in photonics lab.

·      Hands-on approach to problem-solving and experimentation.

·      Experience with building lab automation (e.g. scripting, Python)

·      Experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex systems (HW and SW)

·      Experience with RF equipment.

·      Ability to effectively manage a volume of work across multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

·      Organized and detail oriented.

·      Demonstrates a high level of commitment and drive for excellence

·      Strong attention to detail with clear written and verbal communication skills.
