R&D Team Lead - Connectors JB-3672

For a growing start up we are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader with exceptional technical and communication skills to join our team as the R&D Team Lead for Connectors and integration. This is a hybrid role that integrates data engineering and data integration responsibilities, with a focus on building and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines within our next-generation infrastructure platform. You will lead a team of engineers to design and implement solutions using tools such as dbt, Airbyte, Airflow, and other components of the modern data stack, while maintaining high technical standards and performance.

Over 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years of experience as an R&D Team Lead Expertise in designing and building scalable systems with Cloud Architecture in a SaaS company

Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and manage distributed cross-functional R&D teams, mentorship skills, fostering a collaborative and communicative team environment

Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, manipulation, designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines using custom tooling (Python, N8N, Airbyte is an advantage) emphasizing monitoring, supportability, and resource optimization

Expertise with data orchestration and workflow tools (Apache Airflow is an advantage)
