Algorithms Researcher

We are a venture-backed startup providing valuable insights to various industries by analyzing visual data. We are seeking an experienced algorithms researcher with experience in machine vision.

Responsibilities

   •   Develop and enhance machine vision algorithms to improve accuracy and performance continually.

   •   Stay current with cutting-edge research, advising on its integration into products.

   •   Test new and existing models using extensive datasets and scientific methodologies.

   •   Collaborate with team members to implement algorithms into production environments.

   •   Build and extend data processing and training pipelines using existing ML/DL frameworks.

   •   Document experiments, and lead long-term research initiatives.

   •   Support backend development and feature engineering when necessary.

Requirements

   •   Proven experience developing image/video processing and computer vision solutions.

   •   Demonstrated background as a machine learning engineer or researcher.

   •   Strong understanding of data structures, modeling, and software architecture.

   •   Proficient in common ML Python frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, ONNX, MxNet, or PyTorch).

   •   Solid grasp of system architecture, APIs, and user management.

   •   Hands-on experience with containers like Docker and Kubernetes.

   •   Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

   •   MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. BSc with relevant industrial experience is also acceptable.
