General Description:

Infinite Acres Israel, a subsidiary of Infinite Acres which is the R&D arm of 80 Acres Farm. A US based company which utilizes vertical indoor farming to supply fresh vegetable products to the US market. Infinite Acres Israel being the genetic arm Infinite Acres is responsible to develop new genetics to fit 80 Acres Farm using classic breeding as well as precision breeding.

Infinite Acres Israel, bioinformatic team is looking for a talented bioinformatician to join our current team. As part of your role you will be responsible to develop tools and capabilities that will support new and on going projects conducted by the company to achieve timely milestones.

Those projects include infrastructure for classical and precises breeding (DNA editing), large data analysis (DNA, RNA and metabolites), Protein structure analysis and more.

 Position Minimal Requirements:

• PhD degree in bioinformatics or equivalent industrial experience.
• Comfortable with Linux operating systems.
• Out of the box thinking with a “can do” approach.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal relationships.
• Programing skills.
• Experience in at least one of the following:

1. NGS data analysis
2. Protein structure analysis
3. Metabolic pathways analysis

Advantage having experience in the following:

• Strong background in plant science.
• Strong background in statistics.
• Working experience with AWS.
