Penetration Testing Lecturer

We are seeking an experienced Penetration Testing Lecturer to join our educational team. As a lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching students the principles, techniques, and tools used in ethical hacking and penetration testing. You will guide them through real-world scenarios, hands-on labs, and theoretical foundations to ensure they gain the necessary skills to succeed in the cybersecurity field.

• Teach penetration testing methodologies, tools, and techniques in both theoretical and practical environments.
• Develop and update curriculum, including course materials, labs, and assessments, ensuring it remains current with industry standards and trends.
• Guide students through hands-on labs using tools such as Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, and other testing platforms.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in cybersecurity and penetration testing to deliver up-to-date content.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to create cross-discipline learning opportunities.

• Proven experience in penetration testing, ethical hacking, or offensive security (5+ years).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies (e.g., OWASP, PTES, NIST).
• Proficiency in using penetration testing tools (e.g., Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Nessus, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, understandable manner.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or similar are highly desirable.
• Programming capabilities: Python, C / C++ / Java, C#, js, etc.

• Computer Science / Software Engineering Degree (B.sc, M.sc, P.hd)
• Military Service (8200, 81, 49, C4I, Matzov, Ofek, Prime Minister Office, Aram, Gaash, etc.)
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience
