Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Multisite E-Commerce Scalable Expansion
Location: Remote/On-site (Flexible)

Overview:
Alomone Labs is seeking an innovative and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the ongoing development and improvement of our WordPress and WooCommerce-based e-commerce platform while spearheading the implementation of a new AI-powered multisite e-commerce platform for our international subsidiaries. This role is pivotal in unifying diverse systems—including WordPress, WooCommerce, Priority ERP, Salesforce, PIM (Product Information Management), marketing tools, and third-party integrations—into a seamless, scalable, and efficient global solution, leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and refining code, using AI tools to enhance and streamline processes for efficient, real-time solutions. Additionally, this individual will build and lead a high-performing team, coordinate across internal and external stakeholders, and provide technical expertise to overcome scalable expansion challenges while maximizing AI's potential in e-commerce operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of the current WordPress and WooCommerce-based e-commerce platform.
- Coordinate the launch of new legal entities, ensuring the operational readiness of Germany and the US by their respective deadlines.
- Lead the deployment and implementation of an AI-powered multisite e-commerce platform based on Salesforce B2B Commerce for Alomone Labs and its subsidiaries.
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines, milestones, and deliverables for integrating WordPress, WooCommerce, Priority ERP, Salesforce, PIM, and other related systems.
2. Technical Leadership:
- Oversee the transition from Tranzila to Stripe as the new payment gateway, ensuring compliance with international payment regulations and smooth customer transactions.
- Lead the integration of regional solutions for shipping, payment, tax, and currency management, leveraging AI to ensure compliance and streamlined operations in local markets.
- Manage API integrations between WooCommerce, Salesforce, Priority ERP, and PIM systems to ensure accurate, real-time data flow across all platforms.
- Implement robust security protocols to safeguard the multisite e-commerce platform and its integrations, ensuring data privacy and compliance with industry standards.
3. Salesforce Integration & Optimization:
- Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and the e-commerce platform, synchronizing customer data, sales leads, and order history to provide a unified customer view.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to optimize Salesforce workflows, focusing on automating customer segmentation and nurturing processes for improved campaign efficiency.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce dashboards to effectively track performance metrics, customer interactions, and e-commerce KPIs, providing actionable insights for sales and marketing strategies.
4. Compliance & Security:
- Ensure all sites are fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and other international privacy regulations to maintain customer trust and avoid legal pitfalls.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive privacy management framework, incorporating advanced data encryption, user rights tools, and proactive compliance monitoring to safeguard user data and ensure alignment with evolving regulations.
- Collaborate closely with legal teams to ensure that privacy policies are consistently up-to-date, accessible, and aligned with the latest industry standards and regional requirements.
5. Digital Marketing Integration:
- Drive Product-led SEO optimization initiatives for the multisite platform, strategically enhancing local market visibility by leveraging AI-powered tools to automate and refine keyword and content strategies, positioning Alomone Labs as a leader in regional search performance through product-focused content that drives user engagement.
- Partner with the marketing team to architect and implement automation, SEM/PPC strategies, and AI-driven campaign optimizations, ensuring seamless integration with Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other key platforms. Utilize AI agents for real-time bidding adjustments and predictive analytics to maximize ROI and drive data-driven marketing outcomes.
- Champion the implementation of advanced analytics frameworks and AI tools, enabling effective use of both structured and unstructured data. Utilize AI-driven insights to create a holistic view of performance metrics, ensuring precise measurement of campaign success and empowering proactive, data-driven decision-making for continuous optimization and growth.
6. Email & Content Marketing Workflows:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to elevate and optimize email marketing campaigns, leveraging tools like ActiveCampaign to create dynamic, AI-driven customer journeys, personalized newsletters, and targeted engagement strategies.
- Ensure blog posts, landing pages, and marketing materials are optimized for Product-led SEO, aligning content with precise customer segmentation and tailored personas to maximize relevance and conversion potential.
- Streamline and unify lead generation, nurturing, and content distribution workflows across sales and marketing, leveraging AI to automate key touchpoints and ensure seamless handoffs, ultimately driving more efficient customer acquisition and engagement.
7. Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate with external vendors and development teams to implement the multisite setup and integrations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals of scalability and seamless integration.
- Review vendor proposals to ensure they align with project objectives, budget, and timelines.
8. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering system architecture, processes, and integrations.
- Develop user guides and training materials to facilitate post-launch maintenance and knowledge transfer.
9. Risk Management & Problem-Solving:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and collaborate with developers to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle post-launch issues efficiently to minimize disruptions.
10. Post-Launch Maintenance:
- Establish a robust support structure for ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and system updates.
- Ensure continuous support and optimization by the CTO and the team for long-term management.
Qualifications Experience:&
- 7+ years in global e-commerce technology leadership, focusing on multisite Salesforce B2B Commerce, WordPress, and WooCommerce platforms.
- Proven expertise in leading complex system integrations, particularly with ERP systems (Priority ERP experience is a plus) and Salesforce.
- Experience managing international e-commerce platforms with knowledge of tax, shipping, and payment intricacies.
- Strong background in transitioning payment gateways, such as Tranzila to Stripe, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
- Extensive hands-on experience optimizing technology for SEO, SEM, PPC, and content marketing workflows within a complex e-commerce environment, driving increased traffic, conversions, and overall digital marketing performance.
Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience in writing, developing, and refining code, leveraging AI tools to enhance, optimize, and streamline coding processes, resulting in efficient, real-time solutions.
- Strong development capabilities in Python, JavaScript (with Node.js), and PHP; proficiency in Apex or SQL preferred.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce B2B Commerce, WordPress multisite architecture, WooCommerce, and third-party plugins.
- Experience with API integrations and security protocols.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, including workflow automation and dashboard development.
Compliance Expertise:
- Solid understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations.
- Proven track record in managing privacy compliance in e-commerce platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Salesforce B2B Commerce and Priority ERP or similar ERP systems.
- ·Expertise in optimizing SEO, SEM, B2B social media platforms, and email marketing campaigns for international markets.
- Experience with multisite and multilingual platforms, including familiarity with transitioning payment gateways.
