Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate brings a mastery of SQL and Python, profound knowledge of AWS cloud services, and hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement highly scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Utilize SQL and Python to perform complex data transformations and analyses.
• Leverage AWS cloud services to ensure the scalability and security of data architecture.
• Develop and optimize Spark jobs for big data processing.
• Implement and maintain Databricks notebooks for collaborative data exploration and analysis.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through comprehensive testing and validation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience: Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role – a MUST
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing.
• Deep understanding of AWS services related to data storage, computing, and security.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for big data processing. Experience with Databricks for collaborative data science and engineering.
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and implement solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
